A couple of things about me, I absolutely love kids, and I can promise your session will be fun and relaxed. Additionally, I am extremely detail-oriented. I am very particular about what my photos look like. I pay extreme attention to detail in both taking the perfect photos of you and your families, and also in making the most perfect edits to produce excellent images.
While we will do many natural poses, we will also do many relaxed, candid style photos, to capture your family most authentically. My primary focus is always on capturing real, raw, genuine emotion (love and joy) through photos. I aim for a very natural and timeless look in all my photos. This goes for my newborn sessions as well. They will have a lifestyle feel, will typically be conducted indoors in your home, capturing the beauty of you and your family most authentically.
My photography style is clean and bright, timeless, and encompasses the natural beauty of the Massachusetts coastline. I conduct shoots at a variety of outdoor locations, including but not limited to the beach, grassy/flowery fields, Scituate lighthouse, fields with fall foliage, etc. I also conduct shoots in clients' homes and businesses. I rarely shoot in studio as outdoors is my preference, but I occasionally get asked by clients to shoot in studio which I do accommodate.
My genuine love for all things coastal New England is primarily where I draw all my inspiration from in your outdoor photo sessions. I combine the most beautiful aspects of your outdoor surroundings, and pair that with crystal clear, light-filled, timeless images. This gives the "clean and bright / timeless coastal" look which I love so much.

Hello and welcome! I’m so glad you’re here! I’m Stephanie Jay, and I am your premium South Shore Massachusetts photographer. It is always my goal to effectively capture the beauty of each of my clients, in a gorgeous setting, while highlighting their authentic personalities. I pride myself in delivering exceptional quality photos to most naturally capture yourselves, your families, and your special events. I specialize in weddings & events, families, maternity, newborns, engagements & proposals, high school senior portraits, and branding/headshots. I offer various packages including signature (60-90 min) sessions with 60+ images, and various mini sessions options, with 25-35+ images. My photos are expertly crafted to deliver you crystal clear, light filled, timeless images, drawing inspiration and natural beauty from all things coastal Massachusetts.
I am a South Shore, MA resident, mom of three toddler boys, and an experienced pediatric registered nurse. This is especially helpful when it comes to newborn, maternity, and family sessions with babies, toddlers, and young children. I know how to safely position and swaddle, and care for your baby during your newborn sessions. My natural ability to connect with babies and children becomes evident in the quality of photos captured during your sessions. When your children are truly comfortable with your photographer, only then do their genuine personalities shine, and are able to be captured perfectly in the photos.
I have a high level of training in both photography and editing. I provide my clients with my personally curated styling guides, and newborn session guide to help assist with outfit selection and to help prepare your newborn and your home for your newborn session. Lastly, in addition to the high resolution, digital images delivered to you in a beautiful online gallery for downloading, printing and sharing, I also have an online store for ordering professional prints, heirloom photo albums, and beautiful photo keepsake items, directly connected to my clients' online galleries.
