A huge congratulations on that sweet new bundle of joy! What an incredibly special time. Capturing gorgeous images of your newly grown family during this incredibly exciting yet fleeting time, is something you can look back on and cherish forever. I advise clients to book their newborn sessions ahead of time for the month of their expected due date. After everyone gets home from the hospital, at that point we will schedule your session for approximately two weeks later. Whether you book a signature newborn or mini newborn session, it will take place in the comfort of your own home. I take this opportunity to beautifully capture your family and newborn in the comfort of your own home. It is not required or expected for you to have a perfectly setup nursery (if you have one at all), or pinterest perfect looking home. It is my job to create my style of photos regardless of our background. We have many options of where to take photos in your home if you do not have a nursery ready. The emphasis of these images is on your family and your bond. We will take photos of the whole family, some just of your newborn, and can include your pet at your request. I will get detailed images of the nursery as well (if you have one set up). Upon booking, I will send you helpful information on how to best prepare your home and your family (including your newborn) for your session. I am expertly trained in both capturing high-quality, professional photos and in meticulously editing them during post-production. I take great pride in delivering final galleries with exceptional attention to detail for my clients. See detailed information below regarding my various packages and investment details.

My signature newborn session is a 1-2 hour session, and takes places in the comfort of your own home (serving Scituate, Cohasset, Norwell, Hingham, and Marshfield at no additional travel cost). There is a small travel fee for residences located outside of the above listed towns, and varies depending on distance. My signature newborn session will provide you with a minimum of 60 prepaid high resolution, digital images, professionally retouched by Stephanie Jay, for downloading, sharing, and printing, presented to you in a beautiful online gallery. Any additional images in gallery are complimentary. Option to purchase professional quality prints, heirloom photo albums and other gorgeous keepsake items, via online store directly connected to client gallery. My signature newborn session includes multiple different backgrounds within your home, (typically including the nursery, master bedroom, and living room). It includes your newborn being wrapped in my newborn wraps with my newborn basket as one of the backgrounds. I also give us the opportunity to take photos around the outside of your home. My Signature Newborn Session also allows for a few outfit changes for baby, if you choose, Your session will include candid style, and natural posed photos. Thorough editing of all images includes expert color and light balancing, removal of all extraneous objects from the photos if necessary, natural skin softening, and beyond. Also included in my signature newborn session, is access to my complimentary styling guide, and newborn session guide to assist with outfit selection for the entire family, and to help you prepare your home and your family for your upcoming session. Signature newborn sessions will take place anytime between late morning to late afternoon, depending on when your home receives the most natural sunlight. This ensures optimal lighting for my signature clear, light filled, natural images. You can expect to receive your full edited gallery within 1-3 weeks after your signature newborn session.

My private mini newborn session is a 30-45 minute session, and takes places in the comfort of your own home (serving Scituate, Cohasset, Norwell, Hingham, and Marshfield at no additional travel cost). There is a small travel fee for residences located outside of the above listed towns, and varies depending on distance. My private mini newborn session will provide you with 35 prepaid high resolution, digital images, professionally retouched by Stephanie Jay, for downloading, sharing, and printing, presented to you in a beautiful online gallery. Client gets to choose favorite 35 images in entire gallery, included in prepaid photo package. Option to purchase additional images beyond the included 35 images, at the listed per photo cost. Option to purchase professional quality prints, heirloom photo albums and other gorgeous keepsake items, via online store directly connected to client gallery.
